Via Sophos Hotels, I was asked to fully refurbish the executive floor of the Hilton Brussels Grand Place (for once a hotel project in my home town).
Hilton's design brief was to reinterpret "Art Nouveau", the owner demanded to remain within a very tight budget and my goal was to warm up the rooms by using "honest" materials, such as veneer wood and marble. Despite the budget restrictions, almost every piece of furniture and light fitting was custom made.
